Interview with our People & Operations Team

In a first video call, we would like to get to know the person behind the resume. We want to understand what drives you and what experiences you can bring to the respective position. At the same time, you'll receive comprehensive information about Avelios and we'll answer all your questions.

Processing a job-specific case

Next, you'll have the opportunity to prove your skills and we'll share a case with you to work on. We try to ensure that the case is as closely based as possible on the actual tasks of the position. This allows us to get a good impression of your skills and in turn gives you a realistic impression of the tasks that would come your way.

Presentation of results and discussion

As a final step, we invite you to an interview with a colleague from the department and/or your manager. If possible, we will arrange this interview in our office so that you get an impression of the working environment at the same time and we can also get to know each other in person. You will once again have the opportunity to present your results and you will have a technical discussion on the given topic together. Here, too, you will of course have the opportunity to answer your questions again.

Can I also apply unsolicited if no suitable position is advertised?

Yes! In our open job advertisements, you will find the “Talent Wanted (f/m/d)” vacancy in the “Other” category, for which you are welcome to apply and tell us your preferred areas in which you would like to work in the future. We will review your application and provide feedback as soon as possible.

How do I apply for an open position at Avelios?

Each job posting has a button that takes you directly to the application form. There you can directly enter your most important data and upload documents. We then receive the application directly in our HR tool.

Which documents are required for an application?

As a first step, we just need your current resume. You are welcome to attach a cover letter, but you don't have to. If you have job references from your last, relevant jobs, feel free to attach them as an option. For software developers, we would also be pleased to receive a link to the Github profile.

How can I submit additional documents for my application?

If, after submitting your application, you remember that you have forgotten a document that you would like to send us, simply reply to the automatic confirmation of receipt that you have received by email. We will then add the documents to your application.

When should the published position be filled?

As a rule, all positions published on our website are to be filled immediately. If you notice that some jobs have already been advertised for some time, it may be that this is a permanent position for which we have already recruited new colleagues but have additional needs in this area due to our strong growth.

Can I apply for multiple jobs?

Sometimes it happens that you are not only interested in one advertised position, but that several job offers arouse your interest. In this case, it is best to apply for just one position and send us a short cover letter to let us know which positions are still suitable for you.

What can I prepare for the interviews?

The first interview is primarily about your previous experience and motivation and clarifying the employment framework. We would be pleased if you would get to know Avelios in advance and find out more. This helps to clarify specific inquiries on your part. The interview, in which you present your case, is primarily about your know-how and what thoughts you have made during the processing. You are also welcome to use the opportunity to ask any unanswered questions about everyday working life at Avelios.

I'm a student — what options do I have at Avelios?

We have repeatedly advertised career opportunities in various areas, e.g. as a working student or intern. If it's convenient for both sides during this time, we'll be happy to take you on a permanent position after graduation.

What is the compensation package at Avelios?

Our compensation package consists of 3 parts: salary, virtual company shares (for permanent employees) and benefits.

What is Avelios' Employee Stock Option Program?

It is an employee participation program and gives you the opportunity to participate in Avelios' success. Because through your commitment, you are making an enormously important contribution to our growth and, of course, you should also benefit from this. The virtual options therefore give you the right to payment of a sum of money if the exercise requirements are met. The amount depends on the company's valuation at this point in time. We will be happy to provide you with more details during the recruiting process.
